Lifetime guarantee & spare parts

We want your Prayer Mat Hanger to keep doing its job for as long as you have it, so every kit comes with a lifetime manufacturing guarantee.

What’s covered

The wall mounts and clamps, including their magnets, are guaranteed against faults in materials and manufacture for as long as you, the original buyer, own them. For example: a part that cracks in normal use, a clamp that no longer clicks or holds, or a magnet that comes loose.

What isn’t covered

How to claim

  1. Email hello@prayermathanger.com with the email address you ordered with, which part is affected and, if you can, a photo.
  2. If it’s covered, we’ll post you a replacement part free of charge to your UK address.
  3. Sometimes we may ask you to send the old part back first, so we can reuse its magnets. If we do, we’ll cover the postage.

Who gives this guarantee: Ryan Kalagin trading as Prayer Mat Hanger, Flat 3 Edward Heylyn House, E32ZL.

This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and doesn’t affect them.

Spare parts

Spare clamps, wall mounts and Command™ strips are available, for example if a part goes missing when you move home, or you’d like to hang a second mat. Email us and we’ll sort it out.

Delivery

Returns & cancelling your order

Changed your mind?

You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive it, without giving a reason.

  1. Tell us within those 14 days. An email to hello@prayermathanger.com is easiest. You can also use the form below, but you don’t have to.
  2. Send the kit back to the address above within 14 days of telling us. Unless the kit is faulty, you pay the return postage.
  3. We refund the full price, including the original delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the kit back (or proof that you’ve posted it), using the same card you paid with.

If the kit has been used in a way that goes beyond what’s needed to check it (for example, the Command™ strips have already been stuck to a wall), we may reduce the refund to reflect that.

Something wrong with it?

If your kit arrives faulty or damaged, or isn’t as described, email us within 30 days for a refund, or at any time after that for a repair or replacement. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Terms of sale

  1. The product. One Prayer Mat Hanger kit contains two wall mounts, two mat clamps and two pairs of large Command™ strips, and hangs one prayer mat. Colours may look slightly different on screen. As each piece is made to order in the UK, you may see faint layer lines on its surface; this is normal.
  2. Price and payment. The price is the one shown on the website when you order, and it includes UK delivery. Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you place your order. We never see or store your card details.
  3. Your order. Our contract with you starts when your payment goes through and Stripe emails your receipt. If we can’t supply your order for any reason, we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
  4. Using Prayer Mat Hanger. Follow the instructions in the kit and on the Command™ strip packet. Prayer Mat Hanger is made for prayer mats, not heavy rugs or other loads.
  5. Our responsibility. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss caused by not following the instructions, for example damage to wallpaper or freshly painted walls. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your legal rights as a consumer.
  6. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Safety & care

Contains strong neodymium magnets and small parts. Not a toy.

  • Keep out of reach of young children and pets. Swallowed magnets can cause serious internal injury: get medical help straight away if a magnet is swallowed.
  • Keep the magnets away from pacemakers and other implanted medical devices, and from bank cards and electronics.
  • The magnets can snap together hard. Keep your fingers out from between the clamp and the wall mount.
